POD Point MIS: Getting Started (basic)

Guide to getting started with the POD Point MIS.

Dashboard

The dashboard page is an overview summary of your network. The top section features a graph of monthly and daily energy provided and CO2 saved by your POD Points.

Try moving your mouse over each bar on the graph. To the right of the graph you'll see total usage since your network was launched.

The bottom section is live map of your POD Points showing their usage in real-time. You can click on a pin and navigate the specific page of that POD Point.

Navigation Menu


Use the menu on the left to navigate through the MIS. You will become familiar with the following pages:

  • Sites: Groups of POD Points in your business sites.
  • PODs: List of all POD Points on your network.
  • MIS Users: List of users that have access to the MIS.

Sites


The Sites page displays groups of POD Points in your business sites. Data on the table is from the last 30 days.

You can check how much energy was used, CO2 saved and energy cost at each of your business sites. Try clicking into a specific business site for more information about POD Points only in that site or to edit contact details for the site administrator. You can drill down further by clicking a specific POD Point.

Energy cost is calculated at UK average of 10p per kWh. You can set your own site electricity cost here.

You can download usage data from any table on the MIS directly to Excel here.

PODs


From the menu, click on PODs to view a list of all POD Points in your network.

Here you can track the energy used, CO2 saved and energy cost for each of your POD Points in the last 30 days. From here you click into a specific POD Point to check its live status and all charges that were performed on it. Alternatively you can click into a specific business site.

MIS Users

The MIS Users tab lists all admin users that have access to the POD Point MIS.

Click 'Add User' in the top right to invite another admin user to access and manage usage on the MIS. Once added, the invited user will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to log in.
