Crowdfunding: Equity and Bond Now Live on Crowdcube

POD Point is open to investment.
Investments of this nature carry risks to your capital as well as potential rewards. Please #InvestAware as your capital is at risk.
We are crowdfunding with a target of £1.75m to help us achieve our mission of “a POD Point everywhere you park for an hour or more.”
POD Point is growing at a prestigious rate, going from £1.9, to £4.5 to £6.5m from 2013 through to 2015. This rapid growth has earned us a spot in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 list of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies.
We’ve already shipped over 20,000 charge points and supplied over 10 million miles of electric motoring. However, this is just a fraction of what we need to get the UK fully wired up for mass adoption of electric vehicles.
To help us on our mission we are inviting you to invest in us. This will give you the opportunity to share in our success as we continue to innovate and expand the UK’s charging capability.
POD Point’s Crowdfunding
POD Point is no stranger to crowdfunding; In 2014 we put ourselves firmly in the record books by raising £1.5m in what we believe was, at the time, the second largest private company equity fund raise the UK had ever seen.
This funding has allowed us to develop and launch POD Point Open Charge and our @Work solution which are made up of next generation hardware and intuitive software. It also helped us scale our turnover from £4.5m to £6.5m and post a net profit for the year.
Now we’re back again, ready to finance the next awesome stage in the POD Point story.
We like to do things differently so we’re splitting our fundraise into two sections to suit the two specific goals we have for POD Point this year. This will also suit different investment strategies:
We’re aiming to raise £1.5m to help us fund our ongoing expansion. Specifically by bolstering our sales capability, developing our chargepoint hardware and continuing to iterate our awesome software products. In return you get to own shares in POD Point and the opportunity to benefit from our success.
The Open Charge Bond
We are raising a £250k bond to fund the roll out of our Open Charge network of public charge points. We will pay 8% per annum (paid quarterly) and you will get your original investment back after 3 years.
Will you choose Electric Equity or The Open Charge Bond, or will you go for both?
