Competition T&Cs

Each new email subscriber to Pod Point newsletter during the period of 10/08/2023 until 30/11/2023 will be automatically entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a Pod Point 7kW Solo 3 home charger, each calendar month (the “Prize Draw”).

Subscribing to our newsletter during the period noted above will constitute acceptance of the below terms unless you ask to opt out of entry to the Prize Draw completing the form here: https://info.pod-point.com/b2c-campaign-opt-out-from-prize-draw/.

About the competition

1. The organiser of this competition is Pod Point Limited (28-42 Banner Street, London EC1Y 8QE).

By entering the competition, you agree to the below terms and conditions, to be bound by the decisions of Pod Point.

Eligibility for Participation

2. The competition is open to all persons who, at the date of entry, are (1) aged 18 years or over; and (2) residents of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland).

2.1 The Organiser's employees and their immediate family members are excluded from participation.

2.2 Participation is only possible on one's own behalf and joint entries are not allowed.

Participation

3. Participation in the competition is free of charges and fees and does not require the purchase of goods and/or services.

3.1 The competition starts on 10/08/2023 00:00 and runs until 30/11/2023 at 23:59. Entries received outside of this date/time shall not be considered.

3.2 To take part in the competition, the following actions are required:

Subscribe to the Pod Point newsletter. To do so, visit https://info.pod-point.com/join/the-easy-way/ and enter your email address. By subscribing and providing your email, you agree to receive the latest news and updates from Pod Point. You can unsubscribe at any time. Please note that if you unsubscribe before the deadline in section 3.1, your entry will not qualify for the prize draw.

3.3 Only one entry is permitted per person for the duration of the competition.

3.4 The Organiser reserves the right to exclude a participant for any reason at its sole discretion, including anyone who violates these conditions of Participation. If a participant is excluded, prizes and benefits may be subsequently revoked and reclaimed. In this case, a new winner will be determined pursuant to the procedure in section 4.1

Prizes, determination and notification of the winner

4. There will be one winner per calendar month.

The prize is a 7kW Solo 3 home charger with standard installation included.* The winner has the choice to choose a Universal or Tethered Solo 3.

*Standard installation terms specified under “Home Charger Installation Services” in: Pod Point Home Charger Terms of Sale.

4.1 The winner will be determined by random selection (draw) on following dates for each corresponding monthly draw;

• September - 29/09/23

• October - 31/10/23

• November - 30/11/23
  

4.2 The winner will be notified via email sent to the email address provided by the winner at the time of entry within five working days after the deadlines outlined in 4.1.

4.3 The notified winner will be required to respond to the email within seven working days to confirm their acceptance of the prize and provide their contact details, including which UK address they would like their prize installed at. If they do not provide this information within that time, a new winner will be drawn.

4.4 The winner agrees to allow the Organiser to use their name and county of residence to announce the winner of the prize on the promotional webpage and the Organiser's marketing and social media channels.

4.5 The winners agree to submit a photograph / video of the home charger for promotional purposes.

4.6 The Organiser may request to film the winner and the installed charger. The winner may decline this request.

4.7 The winner will be responsible for any additional charges should the install not be a standard installation (to be determined at the Organiser’s discretion).

4.8 Prizes are subject to availability and the Organiser reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control make it necessary to do so.

4.9 Compensation of the prizes in cash, their exchange, or their transfer to other persons are excluded.

5. The Organiser does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

Data Protection

5.1 By submitting an entry, participants agree to provide their personal information which will be used and disclosed by the Organiser and its authorised agents for the purposes of competition administration and prize fulfilment. Miscellaneous

6. The Organiser’s decisions regarding all promotional matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.1 Pod Point reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.

6.2 The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
