Check the status of the charging cable via the touchscreen. Rapid chargers require you to have a minimum of £5 in your account balance to start a charge.

Find your charger in-app

Find your charger in the Pod Point App by name or location.

Connect your vehicle to the charger

Connect the cable to you require for either for DC or AC type 2 charging. Please note that the CCS and CHAdeMO cables cannot charge simultaneously.

Close car doors

Some makes and models of cars will not charge if the car doors are open. Please close the doors and lock the car to ensure charging starts.

Start and confirm your charging session

Confirm charge in-app. The app will then notify you how many kWh of charge you will get based on your account balance.

Stopping a charging session

The charge will stop when your account balance hits £0. Alternatively, tap “Stop” in the Pod Point App to end the charge first, and then unplug your vehicle.
