Summary of Updates to Pod Point’s General Terms and Conditions for Consumers
We’ve summarised below the important changes to our terms that our customers need to be aware of. Please ensure to read the terms and conditions that are relevant to you in full to familiarise yourself with them.
If our terms and conditions are unacceptable to you, you’re free to stop using our website, our app and/or the Pod Point Network (as may be applicable) and to close your account. Otherwise, if you continue to use these services, we’ll assume that you’re happy and accept these changes.

Update 6 November 2024:
1. Update to Mobile App EULA Terms and Conditions
We have made changes to our Mobile App EULA Terms and Conditions to include references to our new Pod Point Home App, and the associated Home App privacy notice, as well as to make reference to our collection and sharing of smart meter data via the Home App. We need this to enable us to offer smart charging services to customers using the Home App.
Update 8 August 2024:
1. Update to Home Charger Terms of Sale
- An adequately sized consumer unit will be fitted if required. Installation of a Type B or C MCB and a Type A RCD, or equivalent RCMO on an adequate enclosure.
- Updated Wiring Regulations We follow BS 7671 2018+A2 (2022) The IET Wiring Regulations and The IET Code of Practice for electric vehicle installations.
- Warranty offering
- Pod Point home chargers are covered by at least a comprehensive 36 month repair or replacement warranty... this comprehensive 36-month warranty may be extended from time-to-time by agreement between us and you (for example, under the terms of any offer available on www.pod-point.com extending such warranty to 60 months, or 5 years).
