With Britain, France and Germany pledging to ban sales of new petrol and diesel cars by 2040, many organisations including energy companies and their investors, are facing significant strategic dilemmas. Although, "oil & gas together still account for 72% of energy used for transportation worldwide". So what pressures will happen when the world shifts to electric. The key question organisations and stakeholders need to analyse is how quickly the transition will happen, and the effects that need to be solved to each stakeholder.
Organisations and stakeholders across the sector need to seriously consider how quickly the transition from ICE to electric will happen, and how each stakeholder will be affected.
