Peppes Pizza partnership - A deal that can’t be topped

We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be delivering more in Norway after partnering up with Peppes Pizza, Scandinavia’s largest pizza chain.
This means we’ll be installing EV chargepoints for all company-owned, Peppes Pizza delivery branches in the country. The chargepoints, which will be used by staff and delivery vehicles, are a key element of Peppes Pizza’s plans to electrify its 120-strong fleet. And, we’re also the recommended supplier for Peppes Pizza’s 42 franchisees.
We’ll be providing Peppes Pizza with a fully managed service, which includes initial consultation and site surveys through to installation and maintenance. Meanwhile, our back-end Site Management Service will enable Peppes Pizza - which delivers 11,000 pizzas a day across Norway, clocking up to a total of 2.200 000 kilometres per year - to monitor its carbon dioxide savings against its sustainability targets.
The installations, which commenced in August at Peppes Pizza’s Lambertseter and Løren sites, will be rolled out over the next three years.
The Peppes Pizza deal is part of our strategy to expand our operations in Norway to more closely mirror our business in the UK, where we provide a fully managed service to a wide range of businesses and organisations. While Pod Point is an established homecharge brand in Norway, diversifying into commercial charging is a priority for us in 2019.
To support our expansion in Norway, we’re developing Norwegian language versions of our website and app, which are scheduled to be launched this year.
