BMW 530e iPerformance (2017)

Overview

BMW’s 5 Series has received the plug-in hybrid treatment with the 530e iPerformance PHEV. Like the Series 3 equivalent, the 330e, it’s a reasonably priced executive saloon with a low BiK rate and BMW’s characteristic refinement, offering a whisper-quiet and relaxing driving experience throughout its 31 miles of all-electric range.

Charging time for a BMW 530e

The table below shows the estimated time to charge your 530e from empty to full. For rapid charging, we show the time to charge from 20% - 80%, as charging tends to slow outside this range to protect the battery.
