Having started in 2010, Italian firm Energica is a relative newcomer in the world of electric motorcycles that quickly found fame in MotoE. Their newest release is the base model Eva EsseEsse9+, which features toned-down motorsport technology that caters to the everyday user. A classic and sporty motorbike, the EE9+ has an impressive WLTP-approved range of 143 miles and four ride modes – ranging from Eco to Sport - although the lack of a loud rumbling exhaust (completely unnecessary on an electric motorcycle!) may take some getting used for seasoned riders.
