Overview

If you have a spare £100k or so lying around and get excited by words like ‘luxobarge’ and ‘Hyperscreen’, the Mercedes-Benz EQS is the EV for you. As their flagship all-electric S-class car, the brand has gone all out to produce a vehicle where the question isn’t “what can it do?” but “what can’t it do?”. A massive Tesla beating 453 miles of claimed range? Check. A maximum charge speed of 200kW? Double check. A leather-clad, high-tech interface that looks like it was ripped straight from the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft and a whisper-quiet driving experience? For that price, we’d expect nothing less.

Charging Details

Charging time for a Mercedes-Benz EQS

The table below shows the estimated time to charge your EQS from empty to full. For rapid charging, we show the time to charge from 20% - 80%, as charging tends to slow outside this range to protect the battery.

** Range per hour is the number of miles you can expect to get from an hour of charging at the relevant rate.
