The ID.3 is Volkswagen's first opportunity to prove just how serious they are about EVs, with a stylish, high-range, affordable BEV model geared for the mass market. The data in this guide is for the whole range of different battery sizes, from the entry-level 45kWh models - which have solid, if not exceptional range and performance figures, through to the more premium mid-size (58kWh) and large (77kWh) battery variants - which offer both range and performance in spades. Ultra-modern interiors and bundles of available tech add to the appeal of the ultra-dependable German household name. So, happily, the ID.3 shows VW coming good on their electric promise. Currently only the mid-size battery is available.
