Overview

The BMW 2 Series iPerformance Active Tourer 225xe was the first plug-in hybrid MPV on the market. A hugely practical family vehicle, the 225xe features an all-electric driving range of 28 miles, which is more than enough to cover short trips. Add to that BMW’s characteristic refinement and a smooth, near-silent driving experience, and you’ve got yourself an excellent hybrid people mover.

The table below shows the estimated time to charge your 225xe from empty to full. For rapid charging, we show the time to charge from 20% - 80%, as charging tends to slow outside this range to protect the battery.
