A warm welcome to Lexus' first plug-in vehicle, the Lexus NX. With it's bold design and visionary technology it is no surprise that this beauty won the WhatCar? Car of the Year Awards 2022, for best plug-in hybrid. The innovative features cover every situation, for example, the futuristic kick-sensor for the boot, for those moments when you have your hands full. Alongside this, the Lexus NX boasts an impressive 40 mile electric only range. 

The NX has clearly made a dramatic entrance, and shows promise of what new and exciting additions to the plug-in hybrid range Lexus may have down the line. This page is based on the 450h+ AWD model, but others are available.

Charging time for a Lexus NX

The table below shows the estimated time to charge your NX from empty to full. For rapid charging, we show the time to charge from 20% - 80%, as charging tends to slow outside this range to protect the battery.

* Based on Pod Point estimates, charging time can differ based on the ambient temperature, the state of the battery (e.g. empty or half full) and variation in charging rate. Max charging rate may also be limited by the vehicle.
** Range per hour is the number of miles you can expect to get from an hour of charging at the relevant rate.
