If you’ve ever looked at the VW ID.4 and thought “I wish it had a slightly different roofline”, the ID.5 might just be the EV for you! Although they’re virtually identical– almost every review of the ID.5 features the sentence “Just like the ID.4...” - the ID.5’s more aerodynamic coupe-SUV design and 77kWh battery gives it a slightly higher maximum range of 313 miles (based on the ID.5 Pro). It’s also got a maximum charging speed of 135kW and a 549-litre capacity boot, making it perfect for those long family road trips.

The table below shows the estimated time to charge your ID.5 from empty to full. For rapid charging, we show the time to charge from 20% - 80%, as charging tends to slow outside this range to protect the battery.
