POD Point MIS: Adding Guest EV Driver

Posted February 12, 2016 by Daniel

How to add a guest EV driver on the POD Point MIS.

The POD Point MIS is the industry's most advanced platform for managing and tracking your business' electric car charging infrastructure.

You can add a temporary EV driver to your network and disable them after their visit. The process for adding a full-time EV driver to your network is the same (the only difference is that you do not need to deactivate the full-time EV driver afterwards).

How to add a temporary EV driver:

  • When logged in, click the 'Individual Access' tab in the left-hand menu.
  • In the top right corner, click 'Add EV Driver'.
  • Input the driver's first and last name.
  • Input the driver's email address (this email address should be the same one they use to create an account on the POD Point Open Charge app).

How to deactivate a temporary EV driver:

  • When logged in, click the 'Individual Access' tab in the left-hand menu.
  • Scroll through the list to find the guest driver's name.
  • Click the corresponding red 'X' icon to deactivate that driver.
  • If they ever need to charge on your network again, you do not need to add them again. Simply click the same button again to reactivate them.
